The body is a tri-layer stainless steel pressure cooker, meaning the base is built up in layers rather than a single sheet. Important Usage Instructions

• Never fill the cooker more than two-thirds full, and keep it to half for foods that foam such as dal, rice and lentils.
• Check that the silicon gasket is seated evenly in the lid rim and that the vent is clear before every use.
• Do not force the lid open while pressure is still inside; wait for the pressure to drop on its own or release it through the vent first.
• On an induction hob start at a medium setting and let the cooker come up to pressure gradually rather than on full power.
• Wash the gasket separately by hand, dry it before refitting, and store the cooker with the lid resting upside down so the seal does not stay compressed.
