Important Usage Instructions

• Never fill the cooker beyond two-thirds of its 4.5 litre capacity, and always keep enough water to build steam.
• Check that the gasket, safety valve and pressure releasing valve are clean and correctly fitted before every use.
• Let the pressure drop fully on its own before opening the cover lid; never force the lid open.
• Keep the flame within the base of the pot, and hold only the Bakelite handle while lifting or moving it.
• Wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent, dry well, and replace the gasket when it hardens or starts to leak.
