Important Usage Instructions

• Never fill past two-thirds of the pot, and no more than half for foods that foam, such as dal and chholla.
• Always add enough liquid to build steam; a pressure cooker must never be run dry.
• Check that the gasket is seated and the vent is clear before locking the lid, and never force the lid while pressure is still inside.
• Let the pressure release fully on its own or under running water before opening, and keep your face and hands away from the vent.
• Wash the gasket and lid separately after each use, dry them, and replace the gasket when it hardens or stops sealing.
