Origin Blender 600W

The Origin Blender 600W answers what a small family or a newly set-up kitchen actually needs: one machine that does two jobs. Fruit juice or a shake in the morning, a little spice powdering before lunch — you do not have to buy separate appliances for each.

Two jars are supplied: a 1.5 L Stainless Steel Blender Jar and a 1.0 litre stainless steel grinder jar. The larger one handles juice, shakes and smoothies; the smaller one powders dry spices such as turmeric and chilli. As a Blender with Grinder Jar, it keeps the two tasks separate so flavours do not carry across.

Both jars are stainless steel rather than glass. In a working kitchen a glass jar that slips out of wet hands is finished; a steel one is not. Where there are children moving around the kitchen, that is a real reason to choose steel. The motor on this Origin 600W Blender is rated at 600W.

Important Usage Instructions

• Use the 1.5 litre jar for liquids and the 1.0 litre jar for dry spices.
• Do not fill either jar above its marked level, and cool hot ingredients before blending.
• Lock the jar onto the motor base before switching on.
• Run the motor in short spells with rest breaks when grinding hard ingredients.
• Switch off and unplug before changing jars; dry the steel jars fully after washing.
