• Confirm your gas type before connecting — the nozzle setup for an LPG cylinder and an NG line is not the same.
• Keep both burner caps seated squarely; a cap knocked out of its groove during cleaning is the usual cause of a yellow flame.
• Run the larger pot on one burner at a time rather than straddling both, so the glass between the burners is not overheated.
• Clean the igniter tips and burner ports with a dry brush every few weeks; food debris in a port weakens the flame.
