Vision Evaporative Air cooler-45 Super Cool

Vision Evaporative Air cooler-45 Super Cool is the larger unit in Vision's Super Cool wet-pad range, moving up to 6500 m³/h of air and rated for a coverage area of 40–60 square metres. That is the size of a wide drawing room, a small shop floor or an open office bay rather than a single bedroom.

Like the rest of this Vision Evaporative Air Cooler 45 Super Cool family, it works by evaporation: a 28-litre tank keeps honeycomb pads wet on three sides, and the fan draws room air through those pads before pushing it out. Maximum wind speed is 9.5 m/s, the air vent swings left and right on its own, and three speed settings cover everything from a quiet night setting to full afternoon output. Vision also lists a motorised louver for air-flow direction on this model.

The cabinet stands taller than the smaller model at 495 × 360 × 1020 mm, so the outlet sits closer to standing head height and the cool air carries further into the room. The top is tempered glass, the panel is touch-operated, and a remote control, an ice box for extra chill, a water level indicator and a timer settable up to 12 hours are all included.

As a Vision Big Room Air Cooler the Vision 45 Super Cool still draws only 110W at 220–240V, 50Hz, so covering a large room costs far less in electricity than an equivalent compressor unit. Important Usage Instructions

• Keep a window, door or vent open while the cooler runs — evaporative cooling adds moisture, and a sealed room will feel damp instead of cool.
• Top up the 28-litre tank with clean water before starting and check the water level indicator during long runs; dry pads move air but do not cool it.
• Chill the ice box in advance and slot it in when the room is at its hottest.
• Wash the honeycomb pads and empty the tank every few weeks so mineral scale and dust do not block the media or cause odour.
• Because the unit is tall, park it on level flooring away from thresholds, keep the rear intake clear of walls and curtains, and unplug it before refilling or cleaning.
