The Hisense 238L TMF Glass Door Refrigerator Magnetic Blue is a 238 litre top mount refrigerator (TMF) — freezer above, fridge below. The split inside is what matters more than the headline litres: 138 litres of fridge space and 100 litres of freezer.

This is a non-inverter model: the compressor runs at a fixed speed, cuts out when the cabinet is cold and restarts as it warms. That keeps the purchase price lower. If long-term electricity saving matters more to you, look at the inverter versions of the same cabinet.

Important Usage Instructions

• Leave a gap at the sides and top for air to move, even though the back is flat.
• Let a newly delivered fridge stand upright for a few hours before switching it on, so the compressor oil settles.
• Cool hot food to room temperature before putting it in — hot dishes make the compressor run far longer.
• Do not block the vents inside with tightly packed containers; cold air needs a path around the shelves.
• Clean the door gasket every few weeks; a dirty or hardened gasket lets warm air leak in and raises the bill.
